This was one of the best meals of our road trip through the Emilia Romagna region. The drive alone through the beautiful Italian countryside from Reggio Emilia makes a visit to this restaurant worth it. But the food was the best part! Our host, who alongside his wife told us to put the phones down and enjoy the setting and the food. I recommend you do the same. Their menu have several options at a set price. We opted for their recommendations and I'm glad we did. Whatever you do, make sure yo her the Gnoccho fritto, cold cuts and pumpkin stuffed tortelloni. I almost had an orgasm when I tried it ! (see photo) Wash it all down with local Lambrusco. Dessert is simple. 36 months aged parmigianino reggiano drizzled with 25yr old pure balsamic vinegar. I look forward to another visit! We were welcomed very friendly, the waiter recommended us to trust him and choose a menu sequence. We relied on him and were not disappointed. The polenta was great, the gnoccho fritto very tasty. The wine was very good and the dessert were great. We also had Parmesan with 49 year old balsamico which is very tipical for this region in Italy. There were also some vegetarian alternatives. I think the restaurant would even more beautiful in the summer time, when you are able to sit outside. We will definitely try next time.

A perfect venue for wedding receptions, with great views of the countryside, especially as the sun sets. The waiters are really helpful, the food was ample and the overall a pleasant place to go.
